Wills & Estates
For over 30 years, Satisky & Silverstein, LLP has provided estate planning and drafting services for our clients, including:
- Wills and trusts: After meeting with clients and gaining a thorough understanding of their needs, we regularly draft estate planning documents that meet our clients' needs, be it simple wills, or complex will and trust documents to address such concerns as minimization of estate taxes, guardianship for minors, and charitable giving.
- Living wills and powers of attorney: Many of our clients are concerned about what will happen to them and who will make decisions on their behalf in the event that they become incapacitated. We help clients address these concerns by drafting durable powers of attorney, health care power of attorneys, and living wills.
- Probate and trust administration: Our attorneys assist clients with the administration of estates in probate as well as the administration of trusts. We are available to counsel and represent executors, trustees and other parties to estate cases, and we also frequently accept appointments as independent trustees.
Through careful estate planning, we are able to help our clients avoid many of the disputes that can arise when important issues are not clarified and settled in a timely fashion.
