John primarily advises clients in matters relating to administrative, business, and real estate law. In his 50 years of practice, John has represented municipal boards and certification boards, and settled hundreds of residential real estate closings. John also served as President of the North Carolina State Bar in 2018.
John received his A.B. degree from Colgate University, and his J.D. degree from University of North Carolina School of Law. Additionally, he has received a prestigious “AV” Peer Review Rating from Lexis-Nexis Martindale Hubbell based on the opinions of lawyers outside his firm.
